Sometimes, it's good to sit down and write down different thoughts in your head. Well, I got a lot of them and I'd like to share them with you all. Some of you may like it and some of you may think I'm a stupid man. Given from what I've been taught, experienced, and experiencing, you'll see I don't tell lies.

Silence Within The Black Community
For the past couple of weeks, hip-hop pioneer Afrika Bambaataa has been accused of molestation from people that could've been his victims. After this shit hits the fan, KRS-One comes out to defend one of the founding fathers of hip-hop.
Since the deaths of Trayvon Martin, Mike Brown, and Eric Gardner, an organization called the Black Lives Matter Movement has been on the rise from Ferguson Missouri to Baltimore Maryland. In a nutshell, it's purpose is to bring awareness of crimes against black people by the powers that be, cops and the white man. However, there's a bunch of other shit it doesn't stand for nor won't talk about (I'll get to that later).
Two pastors from the Atlanta area and The Gump Alabama got snitched on by the people they exposed and/or infected with the AIDS/HIV virus. 100 plus pastors secretly had a meeting with Donald Trump, who's openly dissed women, Latinos, and Muslims, and have given their full political affiliation to his cause. Hell, a well known pastor from ATL asked his supporters to donate their taxable incomes to help buy him a 65 million dollar tax write-off plane (which he already bought).
A mother (probably single) from San Antonio Texas was charged with abusing her children, from having two of her children on a leash and the home they all stayed was a shit hole. If anyone who's a father paying child support in the great state of Texas, the majority of custody cases favors women. Let's break it down further. Do you notice child support doesn't go to the kids but to these mothers, who are, as Juvenile termed, "Project Chicks?" The weaves, the nails, the sorry ass men they're screwing while the fathers have to flip the bill.
These different scenarios and more aren't discussed in the black community and anyone who says something politically incorrect (offense to the community), they're blacklisted. Coon, sell-out, Oreo, Uncle Tom, or the devil. However, these different scenarios are running rampant in the black community and it's time they be addressed. Fuck praying and fasting about this shit. Fuck using religion, Jesus, Allah, holy books, and whatever other spiritual monotony to deflect our problems. It's about time to kill the biggest elephants in the room that is still keeping us in the predicaments we're in, blaming slavery and the white man for where we are today.
Yes, the present black community is still feeling the effects of slavery; however, we can't put all the blame on the "white man." You know who we need to blame? We need to blame the people who sold us out for women, land, control, power, money, weapons, and other trade deals; our African ancestors (do your research). Case and point, until we begin to research and educate ourselves on these matters we're going to continue to guidelines laid out for us by the Willie Lynch letters.
Which leads to the ignorance of the BLM movement....
It's funny how BLM talk about the injustices white people and the police have incurred against blacks. They look for a black person to get knocked off by police so they can torch neighborhood businesses, people's cars, people's houses, loot stores, march, and scream at police barricades. However, when a 9 year old girl in Ferguson Missouri was killed by a stray bullet from a probable act of gang activity. Was there a march, looting, and rioting for her? A couple of months ago, right here in The Gump, some innocent folks got shot by some black ass-wipes over nothing. When a elderly gentleman got shot by a cop (after a struggle in the dead of night), here comes BLM showing their muscles. Let's not forget about the high murder rates in places like Chicago Illinois and the widespread drug trades/gang activity in Kinston North Carolina. Hell, when two black cops killed a white young boy in New Orleans, there was hardly any press about this tragedy. Where is BLM at these places? Where are the marches and the protests denouncing these behaviors within the black community? If someone who knows about these different crimes, they keep their mouths shut in fear of retribution from some niggly hoodlums.
Molestation is real and it's rampant, from the projects, to the suburbs, to the schools, and in the church. Shit, I'm of this bullshit and to this day, I'm still working to unravel myself from its effects in my life. There's a code of silence in our community when it comes to this matter. When people who do this shit to others, namely children, mentally disabled, the disadvantaged, and elderly, we're told to keep this shit a secret. But do you know what happens when you keep a secret like this? It fucks with you. For some, they go to drugs, some to alcohol, others to promiscuity, some to suicide, and some of the abused become the abuser. When someone is dealing with these issues, we're quick to say it's sin, the devil, and don't help them seek professional help. They don't have the forums, places, or freedom to express the pain that's been inflicted. They are told to forgive their abusers, let the pain go, and move it along It's easier said than done and these victims bear the weight of this shame; however, their abusers get away "Scott Free." Therefore, the cycle of molestation continues and god-damn if a public figure gets outed, the first reaction by us in the black community is to defend them.
Which leads me to my next point.....these bum ass, no job having ass preachers.....
Out of the various pastors/preachers getting outed for exposing/infecting people (men & women) of HIV/AIDS, one got sentenced to prison and the other one, well, he just lost his church (which is still gong on to this day, why?). After the media railroaded this well-known ATL pastor for his multi-million dollar acquisition, he plays the defense and accuses the media of being "agents of Satan." The fucked up part is that he's got that plane, flying wherever he wants to go (and probably not for ministerial reasons), and nobody can do shit about it. Well, something could be done about it but that would need members of the black community to vacate his services every week and take their talents (time, money, skills) elsewhere. However, many like the members of this pastor's congregation are brainwashed, indoctrinated, and told "not to touch the Lord's anointed." Most of us in the black community are afraid of questioning these pastors/preachers because we feel that if we do so, hell and God's displeasure is our fate.
Since the 1980s, the church and the gospel of Christ hasn't helped the black community deal with the epidemic of HIV/AIDS. Instead of providing condoms, proper sex education, and awareness of this still fatal disease, we're told to "marry than burn in sexual sin." We're told to be sexually pure (not have sex) but in many instances, people do what they're told not to do. For some reason, some of us hate condoms and get infected with various diseases. One gets an STD from another and then they infect someone else. Then they keep this shit a secret and as the hands in worship services go up and as the offering plates get full, people are a walking petri dish in Jesus' name (especially in the black gay/bi-sexual male and heterosexual black female communities-i.e. - CDC).
And this leads to my next point, child abuse......
What this mother did to her kids is fucked up but it's just an open door to what's going on in the black community. The extension cords, the brutal beat downs, the verbal abuse, the sexual abuse, impoverished living arrangements, crime, credit fraud against under aged children, and high rates of single mothers; all in the black community. Some of these products are residual effects from the generational cycles laid upon us since slavery. My question is, when is it going to be addressed?
There are a bunch of other situations prevalent in our community I don't have the time to touch on. I decided to put these on the table because these three different types are fucking up our bodies, our minds, our hearts, and our spirits. We're allowing sensationalized media, traditions, and bandwagon views keep us from telling the truth; hell, being the truth. And God isn't going to come off his/her throne to save us. Stop believing in fairy tales. It's time for us to take off the iron masks from our heads and stop being silent. It's time for us to be logical and reasonable. Take it from a man who's fighting to unravel himself from being a nigger into a human being. We've got our kids to help in a world, in a society, that makes it hard for us to be and do as we please.
Take Care. DgWo

A Chance To Feel Alive
One of my favorite songs in the whole entire world is "Metalingus" by a rock group called Alter Bridge. Whenever you guys get a chance, go on YouTube, it's a real song. The song is talking about a man who has stopped being indecisive about his life and is ready to make a change in his life. He's tired of allowing himself being held back by society, people, and the fear of being who he is supposed to be. I think that many of us are scared of being who we know we are supposed to be. Instead of having our own identity, we rather choose to be like the others around us. No style or flavor of our own. We're just doing and living like how everybody is. We're clones of another person's fame, riches, and opinion. However, we know deep inside we are living a lie. We have become slaves to the status quo, that is, what is acceptable in another man's eyes than what is acceptable in God's eyes. Therefore, we miss our destiny; thereby riddled by regret, shame, and disappointments. We live a bound life unfulfilled and we become "cool" with it. Instead of going for that promotion on our job, we allow fear, insecurities, and what others have to say keep us from walking in our full potential. Instead of taking on opportunities to leave our hometown, we stay there like a bunch of dummies and watch the world pass us by. Many of us are bound by loyalties to others who care less for you than you really think. This could be church that may have helped you in the inception of your faith but year later has sucked you dry; thereby conforms you into an image full of hypocrisy, mediocrity, stagnation, religiosity, and the list goes on. Maybe we are stuck in a relationship with someone we're courting but no commitment of marriage will ever happen, just loveless "relations" that soothe the body but not the soul or spirit. Maybe we are friends with people who we grew up with an fat first was all good but now has become a cancer; especially when they want you to ride which them to rob that store. So many things and situations are keeping us from living a complete and free life. Freedom from religion, freedom from seeking validation by others, freedom from the guidelines of society set to only control us, and freedom from the chains of fear. Fear is our greatest enemy in American society because we are indoctrinated to maintain an image that is only a mask in this life of the masquerade. Wow. That's a sad life to live. God didn't give us life to live a life that's bound. Jesus came to give us a life that's abundant (in good times and the bad). It's given that we become the image and people we are supposed to be in the first place, not what men want and groom us to be. I can say this from person experience that I allowed this happen but now I'm free. Now it's a chance to truly be alive. I pray that we get off the road of slavery and bondage and that we get on the journey to "complete freedom." I hope you all take heed to this. Let's be free and take the opportunities afforded to us: things that others before us envisioned but died without experiencing (Matthew 13:17). Real talk son, no bull, this is the time, our time and chance to feel alive!!!

Is Religion Another Form Of Slavery?
What is religion? According to the Merriam Websters Dictionary (online, www.m-w.com), it means:
What comes to your mind when you think of the word "religion?" Well, being from North Carolina, I think of one of the deacons shouting every Sunday at 11am on the dot (and he still does to this day) for no apparent reason. I think of a lot people who believe in God but have no idea who He is. I think of a lot of political clout that "certain" religious leaders have (from a monk, to a pastor, to an imam, etc.) in the community; thereby pulling strings (most of the time for their own fame and wealth with the hands and on the backs of the people they are suppose to guide to "truth"). I think of staleness, tiredness, dreariness, past due its time of relevancy, gossip, cruel and unusual judgment of others, lovelessness, and pride. Part a of the definition of religion states it's a belief in a god or group of gods. To add to it, we have groups that believe men are gods or that there is no god(s). Part b talks about an organized system of beliefs, ceremonies, or rules to worship a deity. Part c is just a summation of parts a and b. But one thing I've noticed since I was a child, that religion when ruled by men and women whose hearts just aren't right becomes another form of slavery. "You can't do this or this will happen to you." "You can't dress this way because I feel that's not right." "You need to break away from people even your loved ones because they'll contaminate you." "You've got to all of these things so you can go to heaven, become a better person, and be accepted of others." Wow. Does this sound free to you at all? I don't think so. Religion when man is involved clouds the true meaning of what religion is, that is to become closer and possibly one with the Almighty God that created us. Religion, when man is involved, has you wearing long skirts looking like some type of person who time traveled from the 1800s into modern society (you know what I'm talking about). Religion manipulates you into doing and saying things that's against your conscience of what is truly right and wrong. Religion will have you become a part of a cult that guides you away from your loved ones; subtly coercing you (with words and deeds of pretenses=fake of love) to cut yourself off from your friends and family (the people who love you in spite of their shortcomings). Religion will ostracize you from what's happening in the world and when you don't get with the program by the "master or leader" of the organization, you are cut off. Then what life skills, money, self worth, self esteem, vision, or even a relationship with God will you have left? Think about it. We're living in a day and age that Jesus talked about how men and women calling themselves leaders and teachers will lay burdens on the people they are called to serve they themselves would never carry. We're living in a day and age where families are literally being divided because of rules and regulations that only destroy than mend. So many people have their necks, wrists, waists, and ankles chained by the confines of religiosity. The way we dress, the way we speak, the way we live; it takes away all the emotion, imperfections, joy, and even sorrow that life can bring (which God has ordained for each of us to experience to draw us closer to Him). Religion, when man is involved, is only used to control people, suck them dry of their time, money, and talents, and just like the hirelings many of these leaders are in the entire world, when the enemies come, they head for the heels. Religion doesn't solve problems, they only address them (in the wrong fashion) and many times causes them. Religion is just as how Pharaoh did to the Israelites in Egypt, add more burdens people have to carry in this lifetime with no consideration for others. Some of us (especially some of you super saved Saiyan "saints" and deep spiritual thinkers like your Deepak Chopra) may be seeing this boy has lost his mind. True. I've lost my religion and now finding Christ, the God who made me in a whole different and more excellent light. I'll leave you with what my man James said, "pure and undefiled religion (a lifestyle that is guided by God and free from the intentions of men) is to take care of others and keep his nose clean from the evil in this world system. Man, I think I've said enough for today but so much more to say. Stay tuned.

Slavery Still Exists Part 1
According to the Emancipation Proclamation of 1863, slavery was abolished in America. Maybe in a legal sense but guess what my friends, slavery still exists. Slavery along with prostitution, drugs, and war an old profession since the beginning of time. But let me tell you a truth that my wife and I recently escaped from "massa's plantation." For over a decade, we experienced spiritual, financial, emotional, psychological, and mental abuse. A slave owner called Willie Lynch (I could be wrong) said these forms of abuse will continue to keep people in slavery and their descendants for years (lasting centuries). That was over 400 years ago and it's still prevalent. It's prevalent in our schools (notice how more and more kids don't even know history within the past 100 years), financial systems, and religion (no matter what they are, when men are involved it's all the same). People's lives are in a state of bondage where their lives are suffocated, controlled, and their minds manipulated by another peron's egotistical views. And yes, this is very prevalent in the helms of religion (including Christianity). Jesus was right that in the last days men will grow worse and worse. People will indoctrinate you into believing and living in such a way where your life is catered to embellish their image and lifestyle. Think Hitler, Jim Jones, Congress. Slavery is meant to make you work for free with no thank yous. If you don't do what or how they tell you, the whip will scrap fragments of flesh from your back swiftly. Each hit of the whip breaks down the mental capacity of the slave; therefore submits to the other person's wishes. They lose the will to fight back. Too bad for them because I'm like Nat Turner (read your history books), I'm fight against the system even to the death of my reputation and relationships. For over ten years my friends, I was bound but now I'm free. Maybe for the next couple of days, I'll be digging into this topic. I will also be talking about how religion (including atheism) is prevalent in honing slavery in the lives of people (some of you politically correct, religious folks won't like that but I really don't care, it's time someone spoke up for the voiceless).
Till next time....

Stop Thinking Like A Slave, Start Thinking Like A King
Today, I made a declaration to myself. I said to self, "self, it's time to stop living like a slave, it's time for you to start thinking like a king." As one wise man said thousands of years ago, "so as a man thinks in his heart, so is he." A popular saying but how many of us really knows what he really meant? I'll tell you what he really meant. He meant it's time for us to prioritize our way of thinking. We tend to think on those things are a negative, repulsive, lustful, bitter, and unproductive. Many of us (I hate to say this) are stuck in the same rut. Year after year, it's the same thing. Every time things get hard, we revert to victims instead of being victors. We play the blame on those who raised us and those we thought were supposed to help us. But as I've learned within my 31 anos on this planet, life ain't fair. Things don't go our way all the time, it doesn't matter who we are. From the President of the United States, to the smartest chess player in the known world. But what makes us special is the way we think. To throw a nugget at you, what determines the way we live? It's the way we think. Jesus talked about three types of soil that received seed from the farmer. One soil received it but the seed bounced off of it because it was so hard. The other soil received it but thorns and briers choked out the seed from the ground. Another soil gladly received the seed and produced a great harvest. 1 out of 3 us are going to be that good soil. Think about it. Look around you. Look at the world. Many of us, even after reading this will still live like slaves because we'll continue to think as slaves. Willie Lynch's words still are prevalent in American society. His words still have reduced the opportunity of living as royalty insurmountably. But this is where Jesus' promises come in.....If we take hold of His words, dudes and dudettes, we'll never fail. No matter, our minds are fixed to live as royalty, gladly, boldly, smartly, and humbly. One of the reasons why we see certain people in society being fruitful, they've made their minds up to make it happen. When we read about the life of Jesus, we should see He walked, talked, and thought like a king. He wasn't a slave to sin, the ways of this world, or to what people wanted Him to do. He was a king who lived for only one purpose. And we need to take on His mind set, to live as kings and not as slaves. Slaves are blind, dumb, dumb-founded, and naive. They are easily tricked into doing things that will keep them chained. But kings see afar off. They rule well. They take care of the people God has put in their lives. They make wise decisions. They think ahead. One thing I can't stand is seeing people live below their means as far as life goes but never be the royalty they are supposed to be. This goes for the ladies who feel their only way of income is on the pole to the dudes who think a life of crime is the only way to go. Our kids are slaves to fashion instead of excelling in their studies. All this potential wasted on foolishness. Think higher. Reach higher. Don't like the surroundings, be different. Na'mean? (NY style). Seek the mind of Christ and follow His examples He's left behind for us to observe.
